Roosters and the Chiller have teamed up to present a CAHL Sportsmanship Award each session to one team as chosen by league members. The top three eligible teams are selected by league Commissioner Martin Spanhel based on actual game results and an overall team display of good sportsmanship on and off the ice.
League members are asked to place your votes and at the end of the voting period the winning team will be announced. The winning team will receive a $200 gift card to be used at any Roosters location at the date and time of their choosing. Each team member will also receive a Roosters discount card that can be used every time they visit during the promotional period. Roosters will also recognize the winning team through their own social media channels.
This session’s nominees are:
- Blackhawks - Women's League
- BT1 – Sunday C2 East
- Lucky Pucks - Monday E
All of the teams above were picked based on the number of the penalty minutes during the Winter session and also on the Commissioner's observation of their games. They showed great sportsmanship and camaraderie.
