If you are a hockey player striving to advance your hockey development at the junior hockey and collegiate levels, the NAHL Combines are the place to be!
The NAHL Combines registration is now open and you do not want to miss out! The Director of the Player Personnel for the NAHL, Dennis Vickers said to “be on the lookout for December 11th, when registration opens to the public—spots are limited at each location and will fill up quickly!” This one-of-a-kind experience provides aspiring hockey players the opportunity to maximize their exposure and experience the NAHL.
The combines are run and operated by the NAHL staff. The combines are designed to provide education, exposure, and experience for the future hockey prospects of the NAHL. Vickers states that “these combines are an exceptional opportunity for players to showcase their skills to NAHL organizations and make a name for themselves ahead of pre-draft and main camps.”
With five combines happening across the country on different dates, every hockey player has the opportunity to find the best combine for them. At each location, two different combines are available: the Junior Combine and the Prospect Combine.
Junior Combine (2005-2009): This is perfect for players looking to play junior hockey next season. The athletes will maximize their exposure to NAHL and NA3HL teams while continuing to learn about the proven pathway to NCAA hockey through the NAHL’s Ladder of Development.
Prospect Combine (2009-2011): While this is for the future prospects of the NAHL that are 2+ years away from junior hockey. This experience will educate players on USA Hockey’s proven pathway to NCAA through junior hockey, while giving exposure to scouts from all levels and the chance to receive feedback from bench coaches.
Vickers continues, saying that “year after year, the NAHL Combines bring together over 1,800 players, offering an invaluable experience, education, and exposure to NAHL and NA3HL coaches, staff, and representatives.”
If you want to be one of 1800 athletes at the NAHL Combines this upcoming year, register here!
