Spring 2025: April 5-June 8
- 10 game season
- Saturdays and/or Sundays (with occasional weeknights)
- Game start times will vary
- Games played at Chiller North, Dublin, Easton, Ice Works and Ice Haus.
Cost: $180/player
What is Pond Hockey?
Pond Hockey is fun, high scoring, hockey action giving new players a chance to handle the puck, get creative, and play with others of similar skill! And the best part is while the kids are having fun, they’re focusing on skating, stickhandling, passing, shooting and backchecking/forechecking.
Players coming out of Hockey 3 will play with and against other recent H3 participants – we will form teams based on ages. If we don’t have enough players to form a full division, we will “Just Play”…in other words, we’ll have just as much fun in a controlled scrimmage environment.
Things to Know:
This registration is intended for current Hockey 3 participants (or participants who have recently completed Hockey 3) only. If you are on or have been on a Columbus Blue Jackets Hockey League team, please click here for Pond Hockey options (insert link when available).
Hockey 3 participants should register for this offering only. Please do not sign up for a team or on any other links. This will help us keep Learn To Play players separate from the more competitive divisions.
Parent Volunteers:
One or two parent volunteers are needed to supervise each team bench during games. No experience is necessary; all we ask you to do is make sure the players take turns and that ice time is shared equally.

Please note: all participants skate at their own risk.
Game Format:
- 3-on-3
- Cross-ice games
- No goalies
- Three 15-minute running time periods
- Timeclock will stop only if a player is injured
